oil light on
I have 1987 f-150 with a 302. A few months ago i wanted to put a aftermarket oil pressure gauge in my truck. When i was taking the oil pressure sender unit out it broke. I replaced it with a borg/warner one and since then it reads opposite when there is no pressure it says there is and when there is pressure it says there isnt. when i start the engine the check engine light comes on. i tried just grounding out the sender wire and it shut the light off could it be the aftermarket senders require too much pressure or is it my computer
