1994 F350 460 surging almost loping... Pulling my hair out!!

First off I just joined the forum just for this issue, up to this point you guys have usually covered everything else I've ever researched. lol

Lopes on idle, as soon as you start to engage the clutch (5 speed) it starts to cut out way worse. If i let it idle down the road in second it will about throw you through the windshield, like hopping forward and back. I've replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor and air filter. Only think else I can think of is the ignition module. I just don't want to keep throwing money at it is all. I've wiggled every plug under the whole hood too. Even cleaned and put dielectric grease on the battery terminals. I had 4 different broken vacuum lines (one being the one on the fuel pressure regulator) and one split cap on the intake vacuum nipples, fixed all that and zero difference.

Please give me any input.

Thanks, Will

And what codes have you retrieved?

Does the CEL illuminate when you turn the key to Start?

There can be stored code's even of the CEL isn't illuminated.

What is fuel pressure?

Forgot to post my findings. It ended up being the map sensor. Instantly cured the problem. I found a youtube video that was the same issue.

So did you check for fault codes as timbersteel recommended or just get lucky?

Update ended up being a bad map sensor. Plugged in the new one and ran flawless.
