Hello!
Here's some information about my truck. She's a 1948 Ford F6 firetruck with 1955 Ford 292 Y block overhead valve V-8, 4.5 liter engine. Manual transmission with a total of eight forward gears. Three seat (lap) belts installed. The power take off pump (pto) is located on the front of the truck. The pump rated at 500 gallons per minute (gpm) has been disconnected but I still have the parts. The water tank leaks, otherwise would hold 200 gallons. Two 6 volt batteries on a 6 volt positive ground system powers the lights, siren, heater, etc. The starter is on a 12 volt system using the two 6 volt batteries. A fuel float for an F6 is needed in order for the fuel gauge to work. The hose bed has a platform with benches for riding along which can be removed easily. There's a hard suction hose, hose reel with hose, wooden ladder, an open storage box behind the hose reel.
