5.4 pinging

ok any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a 2005 fx4 f150 5.4. a month or so ago I was towing my 22 ft boat about 150 miles or so back home and about half way my truck started pinging really bad. it pings not as bad right at start up but shortly after under any load it pings. I have a snap on scanner and I pulled the codes. it read of course knock sensor, and bank 1 sensor 2 stuck lean. I wouldn't figure that the o2 after the cat would not affect fuel trims but I changed the o2 anyways and that code went away and the o2 sensors as far as I can tell are reading ok. I replaced the mass flow sensor thinking it might be jacked and messing with fuel trims. but that didn't help. and I sprayed carb cleaner all around my intake and couldn't find any definite vacuum leaks. I changed spark plugs about 10000 miles ago so I'm not thinking those are bad but I don't know. any ideas on more troubleshooting I could do? it isn't a ping I can live with either, I cant drive it in over drive cause it just rattles its butt off. and any load it just pings.
