I took the jack out of my 2013 F250 to clean. When I went to hit the area with the vacuum I found this laying on the rug. It's about an inch & a 1/4 long, 3/8s of an inch wide. Anyone know what this slides onto?
It could be a separator for the jack parts?? So they don't make banging noise under your seat? Not sure, as I've never had my jack out. Not sure I could find it even!!
I"m sure it has something to do with rattling or stopping 2 pieces of the jack / bracket that holds the jack in place from rubbing against each other. Was kinda hoping someone would fold the back passengers side back seat forward, have a look to see if they see this thing and post a picture of where it goes.
I've got my backseat forward right now doing some work. I don't see those pieces in plain view. I did find the toy from a Happy Meal and 37 cents.

At the very minimum I usually find several petrified fry's laying around.
And, FWIW, the jack in my '15 is held in place in a bracket by a rubber strap. No idea what that chunk is.
