'92 Explorer to become '92 EXPLODER!
Howdy All! Been a while since my last post. Wellllll anyway, gots me a prob. I got a bud that has a '92 Firestone 90mph summersaulter (a.k.a. Explorer) that is running like crap. He lets his workers use it as a work truck. This truck has had probs with running rich. I changed the plugs and wires about a month and a half ago and it ran lots better. But since then, it has gotten worse. NOW it just dumps gas like there is no injectors. I know that there was some older Crown Vics that had computers probs witch would cause the injectors to stick open, and wondered if the 4.0 had any of the same. I got a noid light and am going to run tests but just wanted a heads up if any had any more info. THIS THING IS DUMPING LIQUID GAS OUT THE PIPE! (yea the pipe was cut down, no cat, and dumped before rear tire!) haha.....that bad! and blew the air box up! (That was cool in a sadistic kinda way) Thanks all!
