So my 250 just got to the 10,000 mile mark and I have a brake pulsation from the front rotors already, its not terrible and only happens after they heat up a bit but I'm still disappointed as I really try to be easy on the brakes. I'm curios if anyone else has had this problem?
Had this occur on one of my Excursions. If you get up to speed (let's say 45 MPH or so) and then slam on the brakes as hard as you can ... activate the ABS ... and the pulsating goes away for awhile, then you're getting a build-up of pad material on a rotor or two. Slamming on the brakes scrubs it off temporarily. If the pulsating remains, you may have a rotor issue.
On my Excursion, I wound up getting a higher grade of brake pads (Hawk brand?) and a set of standard replacement rotors from NAPA, and never had that issue again. I've noticed something others have mentioned here, and that there's a fair amount of brake dust showing up on my KR's wheels. The high-end pads made little dust on my X.

Oh don't even get me started on the dust, 2 days after I scrub the wheels they are already dirty. Inspecting the rotors shows no sign of pad transfer so I believe its just the rotors, I am quite surprised by the low miles is all.
Just turned 7K miles on mine, took delivery 10/16. Front rotors need replaced. Truck will sit for weeks at a time, extreme rusting/pitting occurred between the rotor and pad in various spots. Minor pulsation but squealing and other type noises on every brake application is horrible. If I used daily this would not have happened, but still...
