I am about to replace the original equipment shocks on my 2003 F150. I have used and like Bilstein and Koni brands in the past as well as KYB for various equipment. I am leaning toward the 4600 Bilstein shocks at this point, as my truck is basically an Urban 4X4 and not an Off Road Beast. However, I do like the quality of Bilstein and Koni over other brands. Anyway, I'd like to hear some feedback on what other folks have used in this situation. The truck is equipped with 17" wheels and 265 X 70 tires. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Rooster

 

While not the shocks you mention, I just put 4 Monroe black Sensatracs on.
They buckled the truck down pretty good.

Just put a set of Monroe Reflex on my 03 F150 SuperCrew... a world of difference! Used to dance all over the washboard gravel roads we travel and now solid as can be.

 

Monroe reflex up front and Monroe sensatrac load adjusters in the rear. Works great.
