I wasn’t going to post here yet, but decided why not here is the before picture, maybe in a couple years I’ll have an after titled as a 59 but looks like a 60
You have to start somewhere. I am going on over a year now on mine and hope by this time next year to have it on the road. Not perfect by any means but driving it. Good luck with it and enjoy the build.

front drivers wheel locked up? Looks like a good project. I have used OSB as a skid board...
Few more pics of my ‘60 Crew. Almost road ready with a few more tweaks. I need to level the front for proper tire clearance. I’m riding on ‘08 super duty axles. Engine/trans is a Cummins 6bt/nv4500.
I have some interior headliner trim to fix. It will be most likely laser cut stainless. I’ll be turning shift ***** from maple or beech. Same wood will be used on the center console. Steering wheel will recovered in the seat leather.
Also need to install AC condenser which will remote mounted under the cab as I have run out of room up front.
Holy *****; that thing is bad a$$!!!!!! How much wider are the super duty axles over stock? My front 44 is in need of major repairs, but I can't find a replacement steering arm anywhere. Junked super duty's are a dime a dozen around here - if the axle width is comparable, it might be a lot less work, and it would give me 4 wheel discs.
It’s been a while since I did the math but they are a few inches wider for sure. The ‘04 and older leaf sprung Super Duty axles are narrower than the ‘05+ axles. I wanted coils so went with ‘05+, which is also why I chose stock SD wheels as they have the most positive offset. I still ended up with tire poke, and while I’m not a fan of that, it’s tolerable to me. Narrowing a set of coil SD axles is not a small feat. We were already eyeball deep adding a coil sprung set up.

Thanks! I was thinking of using 99-04 axles, as I will stay with leaf springs. If I was to use 05+ wheels, they might tuck under the fenders a little better. Have also been looking for a high-pinion Dana 44, but with 8 lug hubs, they're getting hard to find & tend to be very expensive.
