Need Update on Tuners please.......
Sold my 2001 7.3 last year and bought the 2017 6.2 gasser. I had a Tuner/Programmer (think it was superchip?) I sent off with the old truck. Best I can recall it had 3 programs. OEM, better performance towing, and high performance. I used it for years in towing mode when we used to tow more frequently and heavier.
Having not dealt with this issue in 15 years I am wondering if there are similar tuners for the 6.2 gas? I am sure there have been a lot of changes in 15 years to this technology - just wondering if it exists still for what I currently have? Can't seem to find anything for a 2017 6.2 gasser........

Custom Dynomometer Chassis Tuning Products and Services - 5 Star Tuning
he set me up with a SCT tuner and 3 custom tunes for my 2014
economy, tow, and performance tunes. the tunes are also written to accept the high flow cats that are on the truck to turn off the CEL for low cat efficiency ( you need to ask for that though)
i have not run the tow tune yet.
the performance tune really wakes the truck up, and the economy tune has added 3 mpg on around town driving. i went from 8 to 11 mpg around town.
i did one short road trip (65 miles) and saw close to 15 mpg in economy
