2016 - Front bumper cover sagging on one side after a bad jolt [got ran off road partially]

Hey guys!

I got ran off of the road a fair bit - big dually truck with a big wide trailer swerved into my lane on a country road and I had nowhere to go and no time to stop - ended up going off the side and my front right tire slammed up and onto a driveway - basically it felt like hitting the biggest/worst pothole of my life.

I got out and checked the suspension and everything looks fine - no damage to the tire or wheel or control arm that I can see.

That said I noticed today that my front bumper cover is ... about a half inch lower on the passenger side than the driver side. You can see where the rubber piece below the headlight used to touch the bumper cover and now does not.

It's not so bad that it's obvious if you're not looking for it but I was wondering how difficult it is to loosen, raise, and re-tighten this up? If it's a huge pain in the *** I'll leave it be but if it's not too difficult I'll line it back up so it looks good .

Any suggestions / advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I think i would take it to a front end shop first and have the alignment checked first.

I already planned on having that done - but they aren't going to fix my bumper alignment for me :P.

The darker area where it looks clean is where that rubber piece *used* to touch.

It looks like I just have to pop the center plastic piece of the bumper off, loosen 3 nuts on the one side, slide the bumper up, and re-tighten.

Debating it it’s worth the effort.

The older models had shims on them in some cases. I'd do it just to prevent it from getting worse.

Plus, you let one problem go, then another, then another, and another........

And before you know it, you're driving a pile of junk.

Nice truck. Keep it that way.

Yeah I'm just waiting on it to stop raining. I can get at the plastic cover from the back it looks like so I should be able to prevent most of the metal clips from staying in the bumper.

Probably going to put some Por-15 on the stuff when I'm in there to help prevent rust.
