4wd Shift Help
95 PSD, Auto Transmission, Manual Locking Hubs, 4wd shift levert on the floor:
Needed 4wd this weekend but floor shifter did not "feel" right and dash light indicator was not giving me any feedback on position. When I got home where I could take a closer look, I found that the metal shift shaft had come off of the pin on the shift linkage. I cannot seem to get the shaft to slip back over the pin. However, I was very tentative with it for fear of doing greater damage to the linkage if I applied too much force. Looking for some advice on getting that shaft back on without tearing up something else in the process.
