Looking for headers for XP8 explorer
I am looking for some headers for a 1999 saleen explorer xp8, I kind of new to the vehicle and I don't know if the motor in the saleen is different from the regular 5.0 explorer. If any one has any info on some aftermarket headers for a 5.0 explorer, any info would be appreciated.

uhh saleen explorer? my mount has a 5.0 in it but i know its no mustang motor. now cobra on the other hand, has added a super charger, but thats just pimp

fms discontinued them last year. and custom costs more than a grand.hearsay that the triy's from the 65 stang fit. but then no room for cats.and probibly won't clear drivers side.sometimes i see a pair on ebay.good luck finding some.if you do let us know

If you find any - they will be used. I have numerous resources trying to find some, but there are no new sets to be found anywhere. Do not get fooled into buying any Mustang headers, because even though they will fit, you cannot get a mount on them because of the spacing to get them into an Explorer.
I know of a few people trying to fabricate some, but like Faux said - they are going to run around a grand to get. I am going to post when someone gets finished and gets a price on what they will charge to make a set. About the best thing you can do is work on the exhaust after the headers.
What does your XP8 have on it? There are a few things you can do to help it out...
