Finally - Finally - Finally
To quote the dealer: IT'S HERE!! ITS HERE!! IT'S HERE !!
Ordered 7 April, built 17 July, parked in that lot on S. Miltary Highway in Virginia Beach for 7 weeks and it just shows up today with no notice (shipping date) in the Ford System. As it rolls off the carrier they say "oh! That is Mr. Stevens' truck!".
Notified at 5:15 pm by email. As they are 75 miles away I'll catch a ride tomorrow and get it.
Aspen Green Lariat Scab, Leather, heated Captains chairs.
I'll post pictures asap but by now this is old hat!

I ordered through Koons Ford College Park, MD. I actually live about 75 miles south of there. As I said they had no notice through the Ford system. The truck just showed up!

Picked it up today,,,
To answer BigSherm - the word is sweet (with a slight sout after taste)
Finally pick up my Lariat Scab today that was built on 7/17.
Pretty good experience with the dealer Koon's Ford of College Park, MD but the lack of communication from Ford over delays still was lousy, is unforgiven and something I intend to work on.
A 75 mile drive home from the dealer involved street traffic, beltway rush hour, four lane roads and county lanes. All very nice, no notes others have not made yet. The ride and quite could lead to tickets as I found myself doing 70 (in 55) without even thinking I was.
