I am not sure what you are asking but I think you want to know where to get a new engine or at least a rebuild kit. Paw performance has a super stock master rebuild kit for your 240. cast pistons $685 forged pistons $726. You can reach them at 818-678-3100. You may be able to get a reman at your local autoparts store for about the same money as a forged kit but you will have cast pistons. Or you could use your 240 as a core and get a 300 not to be sneaky but unless they look up part numbers they probably won't know the difference. And I know for sure you can get a 300 at various autopart stores. Good luck hope this is what you asked

If you have the time to shop around you can get all the rebiuld parts separately and save a few hundered. im not sure exactly what parts to get or where to get them but i Know some parts from other engines may work. such as 351 pistons(you will have two extera but their cheaper than 300 pistons.)
As long as your rebiulding get a 300 crank and rods, and keep the 240 head for a compression and power boost.
