After spending the last few months doing the bodywork, priming & sanding, sanding, & more sanding. . I applied the final coat of primer. Still have the hood to do, & am going to buy a new bed.
I used 80 grit to sand off the old paint, then I did the body work.
After that I used Summit brand DTM high build primer. Blocked this with 150 grit & filled in the low spots with glazing & spot putty.
The last coat of primer is House of Kolor kd3000 primer/surfacer. I heard it was a better quality product so I switched over to using it. Whether it really is I don't know. I'm a total newb to this, so I don't have any experience as far as what is the best brand to use.
