Tuesday morning 28 degrees F for the first freeze of the year in Elk River. Time to empty the bird bath and think about bring in the hoses. I took the plants into my garage last night so they would not die. Even turned on the heat in the shop at 50 degrees. Not looking forward to a real cold winter as there was a sparse acorn crop this year and that is usually a sign that the winter will not be severe.

Had mom's funeral yesterday. It was a nice service. Now back to reality and this work thing again.

It was a nice service Troy. Back to reality sucks but not as much as loosing a loved one.
