Water Pump F-150 Ranger 351-m

Does anyone have a diagram and any suggestions on replacing a water pump on a 78 F-150 Ranger 351 M 4X4. There is so much stuff I have to remove I'm worried if I'm going to remember where everything goes when I go to put back together. HELP please.

when ever i do a water pump, timing chain etc. i always put the bolts back in the holes they came out of once i get the part off. and put the brackets on the part it came off of if i haven't worked on that motor before. makes it MUCH EASIER to put back together again.trust me.

There are at least two different length bolts in the pump plus several "blind" holes for mounting accessories.

Use a piece of cardboard and draw the rough shape of the pump on it. Poke holes in it where each bolt should go and shove the bolt in the cardboard pattern.

If you have to remove the A/C bracket watch out for small spacers between the bracket and the motor/pump.

Of course expect some anti freeze even after you have drained the radiator.
