So so I have a 97 5.8 I put a new rear tank/pump sender combo in it and I’m not hearing the pump turn on, I put a few gallons in it drove it home pulled the cap off and heard air venting. Checked the wiring off the switch with a test light and found this.
The yellow white gets a little brighter when switched to rear. Not sure if that’s the issue or after the switch....or a junk pump from the factory. Front tank works great no issues. Rear tank pegs to fiull when switched.
