We have a 2006 E350 ambulance that's having intermittent electronic problems. Sometimes it misses & lopes. The throttle will intermittently quit with no response. The "wrench" comes & goes. Most of the time these problems can be fixed by restarting the engine. We've swapped the ECM and numerous other sensors with ones from a properly running unit.
One thing we've overlooked is the possibility that the TCM may be causing the problems. Our analyzer can't see into that module.
What is the possibility that a faulty TCM is causing those problems?
Thanks
Terry
