Lift install advice

I'm going to be purchasing a 2.5 inch lift for the truck in my sig. it is a farm truck in Iowa so it's pretty damn rusty underneath... I'm hoping you folks will have dome advice for a smooth installation and what I should expect. I've never installed a lift before so any advice is good advice

Have lots of PB Blaster or Kroil on hand for the rusty hardware. Of course, there's always the cutting wheel.

I was just reading about the best way to remove exhaust manifold studs. Apparently u heat and then let paraffin wax seep into the nut, gets in better than PB blaster. I'd try a few each way. Start the PB soak a few days before.Use an impact gun.

The PB soak a few days before is key! I have not heard of the paraffin wax idea but it is the same concept. Like 88XLT said, there's always the cutting wheel and a torch haha
