Changing rear main seal on 94 F150 w/5.0

Changing rear main seal on 94 F150 w/5.0
Guys,
Do i just pull the tranny and pull the seal out? Or do I have to pull the rear main bearing cap off to do it?

No, just pull the tranny and go at it.

On big blocks you do need to remove the rear main bearing cap, you even need to lower the crank a little!
