looking to see who might be running a 2.5 inch level kit and 37x11.50x20 nitto trail graps on stock rims post a pic if u can. and does it rub anywhere??
Truck looks good!! Does that combo rub a little on the radius arm? I'm curious if the 11.50 doesn't rub!?
I am looking to do the same thing as you. From my research I believe that the 12.5 inch wide tires will rub at full lock (radius arm only) EpicCowlick has a whole video about it..and the 11.5 inch wide tires will prevent that from happening. I have not done it yet but that is what I have been lead to believe.
I had heard that same thing from another 17 owner. I was looking to see if anyone had a personal experience with that specific setup. Would love to see a few pics and know if it actually doesn't rub. From everything I read, the 12.50s barely rub at full lock, so....
12.5 does rub at full hard lock. Just let off a bit and it stops running. As for the paint I use a spray wash and wax almost every night. I rinse it off then use a fresh brand fluffy microfiber towel and do the whole truck. Takes 15 -20 min when I do it.
Stock wheels stock suspension no mods at all 37x12.5x20
First of all, your truck looks incredible. Not to hijack the thread, but can you share your opinions on the Nitto G2? I'm looking at this tire as an option for the truck I will be getting before year end. Also going with a 37 but most likely on the factory 18" wheel. The G2 and the BFG km2 mud are the lightest (by several pounds) 37 available for an 18" wheel. Thanks for your input.
Nitto G2 is a great tire. No problems no issues they wear great. I rotate every 5k mi I also love the BFG KO 2
however they are a rock magnet if you use your truck on dirt roads at all they will pick up rocks and spit them out all over your truck other than that they are an awesome tire

I agree the BFG All terrains are bad about picking up rocks-I've had numerous sets of the KO's but haven't tried the latest KO2 yet, although it doesn't appear it would be any different in that aspect.
Good to hear you like the nittos. I've heard mixed reviews of the G2, but they have to be quieter by far than the BFG mud km2. How are the nittos in the rain, and do you see that they take a lot of weight to balance?
I had them balanced one Time at initial installation but since then no issues. I've put about 10k on them and rotated them twice since then no other balance weights and they always feel balanced on all road conditions. Plus they are one of the lightest 37 inch tires out there.
