Edge 2" Mini Spring Pack Install
Oh yeah, one last thing. Would it be wise to order the new Bilstein shocks that go with the kit? I had planned to go with a set of 9000x's down the road (I tow a 10,000lb fifth wheel), but I have heard a lot of good things about the new Bilsteins included in the Edge kit. And if anyone has a suggeston as to where to buy the kit for a fair price, that would be great!!
Thanks for taking the time to read through my rambling!!

ALthough, I can't help u w/ the install of the kit and hope the concensus is the bilsteins for the best riding shock. Seems like your gonna need some good help since you wanna do it yourself. If u want an edge dealer who knows his stuff and way around these SD like I've never seen contact OverKill.
I think everybody here will attest to his knowledge of installing lifts. I'm sure he and others will chime in shortly w/ plenty of help for you.
Best of luck w/ your mod!
Installation of the mini spring kit is simple and only takes us about 1 hour. The axle is offset a bit, but this is often the case even on stock SDs. If this is a concern you could add an adjustable track bar, but it is really not necessary. In order to reinstall the track bar bolt we simply attach a come-a-long to the top u-bolt plate on the passengers side and the frame on the drivers side. We then use this to pull the axle/track bar into place. This can also be done by reinstalling the tires and setting the truck back on the ground, then steering the wheels full lock to the left. It is really not that big of a deal with this kit.
I have installed the 2" mini-spring pack and found it quite easy to install. The only area I had difficulty in was reattaching the track bar. If you follow the tips mentioned in one of the posts above you shouldn't have a problem. It took me about 3 easy hours to complete with common hand tools and a air impact gun. You will need more than a couple floor jacks to do this, you will need someway to keep the truck jacked up in the front and also a couple jacks to let the front axle down and then back up after the mini packs are inserted. If you are still interested in a source to order from I got mine from www.superdutyheadquarters.com
I was thinking about a 2" leveling kit but wounder how stiff the ride will be? Does one kit ride better than another?
