Are you looking to lower or raise your tail end? I ask because there are at least two threads here which discuss lowering the rear in lieu of jacking up the front to "level" the Super Duty.
I'm thinking of adding a little bit if lift to my brand new f250. I was thinking if the f350 block is at least 1 inch larger in the rear, I could swap that out. Then install a level kit for the front end for the f350 to level it back out.
For 2017, the OE blocks are the same for the 250 and 350. The blocks that cficare posted are quality units and you can go to any height you like.
I passed along your reference. When looking at those fabricated blocks, I was stumped to select the proper angle for lowering my F250 2" (versus 1-1/2" using the OEM blocks).
I'm not sure about the correct one for each application either. I think a call to them would be in order to ensure the correct ones for a given application.
As others have said they are the same. I went with a Ready Lift 3.5 kit on my 350. Raised the front 3.5 inches and the rear gets a 4 inch block to replace the 3 inch block so an inch higher in the rear.
Do you not have to worry about the drive shaft angle changing when you lower the rear of the truck with 2016 blocks?
driveshaft angle will change and the pinion angle may change as well . different blocks may have different predetermined angled mounting faces based on the application theyre intended for. this sort of stuff should be researched before install. because a block physically fits doesnt meen the drive train components will be at the correct alignment. maybe it will, maybe it wont.
aside from the street tread tires, i think the stock trucks look fine as is but thats just me. ive seen a few local '17 models and they look awful imo because the owner put front spacers and now they look nose high but what ever, isnt my truck
my '17 F350 has the bigger blocks which measure 3 5/8"
my buddy's '16 F250 has 2" blocks.
I have measured both with a tape. I just did this yesterday. We are putting a level kit on his truck and needed to see which blocks to order
Thanks for all the replys guys. I may just put a 3.5 inch lift on. Have to find out how much I can sell the chrome factory wheels and brand new tires for.

Apples to apples, 2017 all around the blocks are the same. 2016 is a different animal...
