Tire Recommendations

I own a 1975 F-250 4×4 and I would like to know if I would be able to put bigger tires on my truck.

If you have any pictures of your truck with tires some what bigger than mine I'll me much appreciated if you could tell me the size or anything that will be best for my truck.

What size tires do you have?
I have BF Goodrich All-Terrian T/A® KO2 33x12.5r15 on my 79 4x4. No rubbing at all. 2" leveling coils in front, stock height rear.

Your current tires come to about a 30x9.25r16. So you can definitely go bigger, I'll see if I can find a photo since I had them put on.

My grand father ran 35x12.50R16.5s on his '75 HB. He had no lift and no rubbing at all. I looked real good too. Sorry I have no pics, though I really wish I did.

Here is my '77 HB with 35x12.5x16.5 tires, no lift, no rubbing. I've got a buddy with 36x12.5x16.5 on his 76 with no rubbing issues.

In the size I got they were about $200ea everywhere around town. I prefer to buy tires at a shop instead of online, because I believe the extra price is worth the warranties and unlimited rotations and balancing that most shops offer. When shopping around pay careful attention to the size listed in the price. Just googling a tire name can be very misleading on prices.

A bit pricey but it definitely would be worth it,Do you happen to remember what shop you got your tires from?

Either Discount Tire or Tire Discounters. I always get the two confused. Doesn't help they're on opposite corners in my town. One was $12 more per tire so I went with the cheaper one.
You might want to keep your eye out for "Buy 3 get a 4th free" deals. Those are typically with the not as well known brands, both the discount is well worth it.

This was about 20 years ago. He grew up with the guy who owned the tire shop in town so he probably go them really cheap. They were Coopers though. He literally only bought American made everything. There was a Cooper plant in McAlester, OK, so he knew dam well what he was getting.
