Yeah, agree. Felt like I'd been scammed! Guessing an old deteriorated wire, but the trucks really were not all that old when they started to fail. I guess they all worked when new, but would be curious as to when you original owners first saw your ammeters stop working. Like how many miles and/or years before trouble?
