Question about EGR Deletes

Hey folks,

I'm prepping to get my whole top end rebuilt with new heads, cooler etc. and am planning to do an EGR delete.

How many of you in have an EGR delete and have you had any issues passing emission tests in WA? Should I be replacing the EGR with something like a Bullet Proof Diesel unit instead? I'm looking into their oil-to-air cooler systems too.

I really don't want to run into issues down the road because of legal crap and have to re-install and EGR.

Per Turbo (mechanic, he knows these things), an EGR delete can pass emissions as long as you are tuned for it and they don't do a visual. I know of some EGR-deleted 6.0s that have passed emissions fine in the past.

Egr is deleted in my 6.4. No problems with emmissions. Put in the right tune, and you'll be fine.
