I'll be doing a thorough replacement of quite a few parts come next year and I have a question dealing with the leaf springs. Will a set of f-250 springs for the same year fit my 79? Yes I know at that point I would be better off just getting a 3/4 ton rear or a 250 in general, I'm just looking at fixing up what I have until I actually have room to park a fixer upper after a while and get another DD
Don't know if this holds true between 150 & 250 but the 250 might be wider.
I would also measure from front eye to center blot & rear eye to center bolt between the 2 springs as they maybe different too.

2 and 4wd rear are all 3" wide, except 67 to 77.5 Highboy rear spring were 2 1/4 wide.
"Highboys had progressive-type rear leaf springs with 9 leafs that were
2 1/4" wide, compared to non-Highboy rear leaf springs, which were 3 inches
wide. Highboy rear leaf springs were 48-inches eye to eye."
F250 rear springs should bolt right up, at least I know of a FTE member that bolted a 79 F250 D60 axle and leaf springs right up to his 4wd 79 F150.
