bought a 2000 excursion

so a week ago or so i bought a 2000 ford excursion. blinkers and break lights worked when i bought it . the blinkers arent working anymore neither are the break lights . the hazard works but doesn’t blink . also the esof switch for 4wd is missing and the truck slipped and now is in 4wd until i fix that switch or find a manual way . someone please help

exactly what is going on for the blinkers/brake lights? do they not come on at all? or do they both flash when you got the park lights on? i had a similar issue with my rear lights of my X that turned out to be a broken off ground in the frame between the driver side frame and fuel tank here is the link to my thread with pictures of the location of the ground for the rear lights https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ucks-butt.html . as for the 4x4 switch you could probably get one from a local junk yard or order one from dealer and your truck doesnt have the manual locking hubs? for time being if you want to disable 4x4 and dont plan to drive in mud or anything might be able to remove the front drive shaft till your able to get the switch/working hubs
