Are you serious Vince???? That explains why the dealer won't tell me anything. What a scam. All this and they can't offer rebates? Unbelievable! If they are so screwed up trying to deliver the truck, how'd they get the thing built to begin with?

Talking

I'm absolutely serious. After i posted the prior message, i logged onto the ford partner website (xplan) and saw my dealer had a white screw fx in stock. went down to look at it on saturday and once i saw the grey leather interior captains chairs (didn't know the FX had grey leather), flow through console w/shifter, moonroof, etc, etc i was hooked. bought it on the spot and am loving it. very nice vehicle and i couldn't be happier. of course, got the x plan price which made it hassle free. Now somebody else can have the one i ordered!

MY TRUCK IS HERE....:)!! :)!! :)!!

JayC, Joey, Superdog and others,

First of all, please read my October 22nd posting in this section, above.

Last night was EXACTLY 4 weeks from the night I ordered my new F-150.....and guess what?! My dealer sales person called me last night at 8:45 PM to tell me that my truck had just been unloaded from the Motor Convoy truck, and that it was a real "looker"....

I was out of town on business today, and went by my dealer's showroom to see my truck on the way back into town this afternoon. They were right.....it really is a "looker".....F-150 Lariat, Screw, 4 x 2, Solid AZ Beige Metallic with the black leather interior with console & floor shifter....LOADED..... . I will pick it up around lunchtime tomorrow = I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!

My truck had a scheduled build date of Monday, 10/27 in the Kansas City Plant.....and an actual production date of Wednesday, 10/29.....and it was delivered last night to my dealer in Charlotte, NC....1 week from it's production date.

Have faith guys....your trucks are out there somewhere....and you all should have them real soon. If I were you, I would go above your local dealerships and contact the local or regional Ford representatives for some order and/or shipment tracing information. I have heard that they have "special" ways of finding out infomration on customer ordered vehicles that the dealers don't have access to. And finally.....remember....Ford is business to sell AND deliver new vehicles.....NOT store them in staging lots and railheads.

My best wishes and best of luck to all of you. Please keep all of us posted
