67 SWB Build

Killer project and enjoying the build so far. Love the wheel and tire combo, too. What rear end did you wind up choosing? We also used a 'flipped' '98-'02 8.8 in our project as it was the same width as the one that came out (its a 1985 F150). I think the Explorer rear is a pretty common for the '67-'72 crowd and has more options, but the CV 8.8 is a solid choice as well. Cannot wait to see more progress.

Right now I need to order a core support and all the braking items I will need to get brakes on it.

Pressure washed the inner fenders so that they can be scuffed and repainted this weekend. Decided to just mock up the passenger side to see what we were looking like. I need to order the spc camber bolts for the lower control arm, but even with them, I will realistically have to settle on a higher ride height up front to get any kind of tire life out of it, although the truck sits nice right now

Just pulled the trigger on several pieces to get the brakes going thanks to "ultra". Quite the knowledge base from him, and it is greatly appreciated.
Hoping to get the bed off this weekend, notch the frame, and get the back half of the frame painted and new hardware put in this weekend. Goal to have it back together and on the road is June 1. Elizabethton, TN is where my plant is, and every weekend is a cruise-in downtown. Police block it off and supervise it, but it happens every Saturday night from April through October. Wife, kids, and I checked it out this weekend and got my motivation up to spend the necessary money to move the project along. Ordering carpet tonight while I am at it...sheesh.

Figured I would post an update. Thanks to Ultra, I got the brakes figured out, and think they are bled for the most part. We will find out soon enough.
Ended up running all the brake lines, got all new bushings in the leafs and shackles in the rear, and got all the wiring plugged back up to see if the thing would start. Changed the oil and replaced the filter, put some gas in the tank, but no dice. Poured a little gas in the carb and it fired right up. I think the carb sat for too long though, since I can see fuel in the fuel filter, but the carb is staying dry.
Threw the bed on to see where it would settle in the rear, and I am going to need to flip the front spring perch. Hoping to have it at the exhaust shop next week.

Front is currently bottomed out stock coilovers, but I will be ordering either Qa1 or ridetech coilovers before I get it back on the road.
