Neither the POR product or Eastwood has a paint over limitation. The Eastwood is about 15$ less a quart and has UV protections, so it can stand the sun. I'm not just being a disagreeable know it all! Ask my 4 girls and they will tell you I am tho, I looked at the POR site to see if it was paintable.

Maybe you should get a new work thread going too, as a new thread title would be more descriptive. Most think we are discussing your road trip

I wonder if admin can edit the description of the thread for me - I just checked and it's not possible for me to do it.

Yes, it is possible. Go to your first post and hit edit. Then click on advanced edit and you can change or edit the title.

Hi guys. I'm sorry but I've not had a single hours work on the truck so far this week. I did, however, print a large decal for my shop, so I thought I'd share that.

I know right?? I was going to do some cab corner work this evening but it appears I have to install an electronic cat flap for the mother in law tonight. Yes, that's right, Family Taxi Driver, General Slave and Cat Flap Installation Technician. I hate cats....

No worries!!

I'm still trying to get reliable cranking out of our '53. Has a new starter delivered today to assist with getting things turning regularly and reliably. This is a full on CPR- resuscitation effort I have at hand. We shall see what happens tonight...

Vincent came with me this evening, just for a second in the shop - I wanted t see what Turquoise would look like somewhere on the truck. Looking at colors on the internet really doesn't help me, I have to visualize it for real.

I do like it, but I'm not made up yet. I don't have the energy after the week I've had, to do anything on the truck tonight, but tomorrow I'm down with finishing the other cab corner! Thought I'd share my turquoise thoughts though. Hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend! Gary.

It looks good. It looks like Pinto Plumber's 54 and the 56 he is working on.

Hi guys! Hope you are all having a tip-top weekend.

Today I got busy on the cab corner. I didn't finish it, but I did do a big chunk of it. It went well, as a beginner it is always scary. Here's some pics...
