I'm baffled. '17 F250 XLT 6.7 CCSB with the XLT Premium package with Powerscope mirrors. The other day, I was looking around inside the truck, and it crossed my mind... where is the button to turn on the outside heated mirrors like I had on my F150?
Naturally, I consulted the owners manual. Here's the diagram showing the button as "J"
Problem is, mine has a "R" on the button signifying it controls the rear window defrost.
I don't know for sure on the Ford, but my wife's Infiniti has the heated mirrors tied in with the rear defrosters. Basically they both use the same button.
According to the version 3 edition of the OM, the mirrors activate along with the rear defroster.

How are the heated mirrors controlled?
My truck has the same defrost emblem with the R. When you engage the switch, it defrosts your rear glass and turns on the heat to your mirrors at the same time. Hope this helps
