But I am curious and suspicious why it has only 80,000 miles in the last ten years. I'd say either the odometer was faked somehow or else it's been worked really hard for the low mileage. See if the pedals are worn out. And all the other human interface stuff- shifter, dash controls, drivers door hinge, etc.
or maybe you just found a good truck. Caution is valuable though.
4x4 and dual rear wheels? I don't understand why anyone would want/need both. Either seems like a useful (and expensive) option, but both? Please enlighten me.
I wonder how familiar you are with Ford Trucks and/or the Ford V10... lots of good advice on this forum if you need it.
$21K is a huge sum of money. If you're wealthy then go for it. If you're a regular joe like the rest of us then I implore you on a personal level to not go into that kind of debt.

SRW or DRW - the vast majority of folks in my neck of the woods wouldn't even look at a truck if it weren't 4x4. Myself included.
man that is incredible. are you the original owner?
Yes. If I had an hour meter, it might show a lot more hours than a 100K+ engine. I spent a lot of time pulling complete 50ft+ trees through the woods on my brother-in-law's land in Upstate NY in 4x4 LOW.
Judging an engine by the number of miles on it doesn't always correlate to how much the engine has been used.
I spent quite a few days last summer when I took some time off work to really clean and paint the underside. So far I am rust free but it's hard to keep at bay forever.
