Ford Gold Concentrated Anti Freeze/Coolant - Preferred?
Is the preferred coolant to use in the 2003 V10? It's what is listed as recommended by Motorcraft but I've read about it being a not so good coolant.
Is there an issue with this coolant?
Is it not of high quality?
I usually use Motorcraft oil, air, fuel filters and most other parts for all of my repairs. Is this coolant an exception to the usually high quality Motorcraft parts?
Thanks!

I flushed my 05 5.4 and put in prestone. Not thinking about it even though I use motorcraft for everything else. My mechanic buddy told me I need to get the green stuff out and the motorcraft back in. Thats been a few years I have the motorcraft in the garage, was planning on doing it before winter. Curious what others have to say too.
I got a tiny leak somewhere I have been randomly smelling coolant for awhile. Never could find a leak. Few months ago 2nd plug well back from the tstat filled up with antifreeze smelling crud. Even though I had a place to look now I still couldn't find it. Damn thing even held on a pressure test for over an hour. I should probably change hoses in the vicinity and t stat gasket while I'm at it.
