Yes that's the one that the Open Range came with originally I had just swapped it out for a fifth airborne from Reese. Haven't had chance to test it out yet but it should cushion the ride, I was concerned that the F350 Dually might ride harder then the 250 did.
I'm wanting to add some damping between the truck and 5th wheel too, trying to decide which route to go. Why did you pick the Reese? I've looked at it and the Trail Air Flex Air. Sorry to be such a pest, but what hitch do you have? We won't be buying the 5th until next spring, so trying to get everything in place.
No Pest at all I'm happy to help if possible. Couple of reasons, I didn't needed a lot of dampening as the Open Range tows very well and smoothly with no chucking or other issues as it is, and it also doesn't have a high pin weight, plus the Reese was a little cheaper.
You can't get the Lariat ultimate package so you have to go through the options list and order separately. Only thing I wouldn't have minded getting was the push button start but that's wasn't high on my list
Looks good, I want my truck to look like yours if it ever gets hatched. I noticed an aux fuel tank in you signature. Is that yet to be installed, or is it a OEM replacement?
Yet to be installed, It came from the 2013 F250 we used as trade. Can't believe the amount of attention these new Superduty's get, I had a guy pull up next to us while cruising on the freeway yesterday, he was taking pics of the truck..
The gatorbacks are on my list....Could you post info and pics of the aux. tank when you get to it? Thats another thing I want to do. Looking at this one. ATI aux46rik. ATI 46 Gallon Rectangle Diesel Auxiliary Fuel Tank. Should fit under tonneau cover and quad should fit behind it with tailgate closed (LB).
Adaptive cruise, rain sensing wipers, auto high beams, remote tailgate release, push button start, I think LED headlights. Maybe power tilt/telescopic wheel.....sure cant understand why
Should be good , you will probably get it in less time than me, they seem to be running them down the line quicker right now.
Got a call from the dealer this morning. Said the truck is scheduled to build 10/8 and delivered 10/20-2! Does time speed up now, or slow down? At least it looks like it will get built.
