Need parts

My name is James I have a 74 f100 that I have started restoring and found myself in need of some parts that I can't find. One being a steering wheel, two spoke. I really want to keep it original. Two is an 18 way for the dash,I am putting all gauges in instead if lights. The original is a 14 way and doesn't fit the back of the panel. Any one that has one or knows where I can get either part I would be very grateful for any help.

Which steering wheel do you want? I presume yours came with the thin horn pad. I believe I have a thin horn pad wheel and a thick horn pad wheel

Welcome to FTE.

You can get reproduced steering wheels and horn pads for an arm, leg and a kidney...lol

Steering wheel. Steering Wheel | Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts

Horn pad. Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

As far as a wiring harness to go from warning lights to all needle gauges...parts truck since that harness is not reproduced. AFAIK

For either part used, but reusable post a WTB add here. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum240/

Two: I am putting all gauges in instead of lights.
2 spoke steering wheel using a horn pad: 1971/77 F100/350; 1974/77 Bronco; 1975/77 Econoline.

1971/73 F100/350 steering wheels were available in colors. In 1974 Ford obsoleted them, replaced them with the black 1974 (1974/77) wheel (D4TZ-3600-A).

Note: 1975/77 F100/350 & Econoline with factory installed Speed Control use a different 2 spoke steering wheel and horn pad. The T/S switch is also different.

1971/77 (except 1975/77's with factory Speed Control):

2 different horn pads, one has black camera case finish, the other (1971/77 Ranger XLT; 1974/77 Bronco Sport; 1975/77 Econoline Chateau) has a walnut wood grained finish.

The horn pads are reproduced, Carpenter at one time reproduced the black steering wheel (D4TZ-3600-A), but is out of stock.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1973/74 F100/350 with optional Oil/Amp GAUGES uses a different instrument cluster back, printed circuit board and dash wiring harness.

These parts are not the same as 1975 and later.

I have an all gauges cluster that I purchased off eBay I just need the 18 way plus for the back. I ordered new gauges and circuit board for it. Not sure how to tell if I have a thick or thin horn pad on my truck, I have also purchased a new horn pad guess I need go from there to figure out which one I need. How will I know the difference between the two

Left is 1978/79 steering wheel & horn pad.

Right is 1971/77 steering wheel and horn pad.

Both are without Speed Control.

Ford replaced the 1971 black camera case and walnut wood grained horn pad part numbers with 1973 part numbers, but the pads are the same.

Carpenter has repro'd the 1971/77 horn pads using FoMoCo's 1973 part numbers:

D3TZ-13A805-A .. Horn Pad-Black Camera Case finish.

D3TZ-13A805-B .. Horn Pad-Walnut Wood Grained finish.

1971/77 F100/350; 1974/77 Bronco; 1975/77 Econoline (except 1975/77 F100/350 & Econoline with Speed Control).
