I have an 04 F2 50 with 6.0 with a proximally 225,000 miles. I filled up with gas last Wednesday and every so often the truck will start running really rough and then it will clear up. Is it possible to of gotten some bad gas if so what products are out there to clear that up. Could've been injector going bad what are the best products for cleaning injectors. No check engine light on, gauges are good, nothing different on the scan gauge.
If you have an iPhone or iPad laying around download the Forscan app,and get an obd wifi adapter. Then scan for codes or cylinder misfires. It can pinpoint which cylinder is the issue. My guess is you have an injector going bad.
I have tried numerous oil and injector cleaners, but they are limited in helping.
My guess is you need to replace injector #2. And you have a glow plug or glow plug module issues. Both fairly easy to do.
Watch videos from diesel tech ron for gp testing, pretty fast and simple.
Test the gps. Easy to ohm them in place. Look up video from diesel tech Ron. Perhaps these are old codes you never cleared. Maybe the control module is shot.
Get a rebuilt injector from a Ford dealer.
So I ohm my black connector for the 2,4,6,8 glow plug and got zero ohms on to 2,4,6 but 8 had .060. So I suspect my glow plug module is bad. Am I right
When you tested the black plug you held the plug in your hand and ohm'ed towards the engine harness I'm guessing. Did you ground your meter to the engine or battery and use the other lead to check the wires one at a time? There is also another connection between the black plug and the glowplugs harness that looks like this

That reading of 0 ohms seems odd. There has to be some reading. Typically around 0.1. Could it be the range you selected on the meter?
