The 02 trucks take AD coded injectors, which are split shots. Your 97, if federal emissions, take AA coded injectors, which are single shots. If your 97 is a California emissions, it would take AB coded split shot injectors. If I'm not mistaken, I think the injector builders when building stage 1 injectors use single shot style injectors, and you have to get a chip tuned for single shot injectors, if installing in a split shot injectored truck.
