Nice. I'd like to read a similar thread on running a high powered inverter off of a regular Prius. Sees like a better idea than a gas generator.

Oh sure, but can you throw a Prius in the back of your pickup?

Not with the 5.5' bed, no. But my wife does drive a 2014 Prius. I'm thinking more for usage as an emergency "generator" in the event of another f#$@ hurricane here in Texas.
