C-6 Automatic Transmission
Hello to all. I have a 1987 F-250 Custom with a 351 HO carburated motor, 4x4 with a C-6 transmission. I wanted to know if anyone knows if these transmissions came with a lock-up converter. Allso my truck has been getting 10 MPG. Its 4x4, Holley 4180, 3:55 gears, and 33x12.5 tires. Is this MPG normal or should I be getting better milelage. Thanks any info would be grately apriciated. These trucks are tuff as nails. Keep them going.

What about the same setup but 32/11.50's and EFI?
I get 9mpg right now and my truck needs a major tune up. It needs plugs, wires, exhaust manifold leak fixed, valvle cover gaskets, harmonic balancer pulley seal replaced...
Carpet inside, and new bucket style seats.
