1959 Shortbed Dimensions
I want to buy a '59 shortbed, but make sure it fits in my little garage first.
What are the dimensions?

I have the Body Builders Layout Book for the 1957, but not 1959. The numbers should be the same. These books give dimensions, but exclude the pickup bed options. This is because the purpose of the books is the allow aftermarket suppliers to fit their service bodies to the various chassis. So that said, the overall length from front bumper to rear of the frame is 181.83". The overall width is 76.34". If you have a rear bumper, the panel truck diagram includes that and shows length to be 199.26". Stu
