Facet duralift fuel pump

Ok i see bubbles in the bowl of the fuel pump. Does this mean its sucking air somewhere?? Still runs fine most of the time. It did seem to loose its prime once but it came back. Im thinking of switching to my back tank to see if it still has bubbles in the fuel bowl

Mine has bubbles too. The bowl is always half empty when I idle. I don't know why or how it has that air in the bowl, but no matter how much I drive and purge, it stays in there. It doesn't appear to affect performance on my van, but it's always disconcerting. Regardless, I've driven tens of thousands of miles with air my e-pump fuel bowl and it hasn't left me stranded.

Have you replaced the hoses between the fuel tanks and the lines on the frame? If not the fuel pump may be sucking air through the deteriorated rubber hoses.
