Moving from Bumper Pull to 5'ver?

My 2015 6.2 gasser was originally setup for a 5er
I bought it to pull my 27 BHS Travel trailer. It does great. From what I've read on other forums, most 5ers prefer the diesel for different reasons.
I have the 4x4 long bed super cab and would not want to give up any of that bed space for a Fifth Wheel.
Personally I don't care for short beds but that is just my opinion
