My truck was running fine, it's stock as far as I know. Shut it off, it sat and cooled off for a while. When I tried to crank it, it wouldn't start, threw 2 codes. P2285 and p 2623. I unplugged the icp sensoran tried to start, no start. Plugged it back in and it started fine for the rest of the work day ( I work out of it). Drove it the next day without any issues. Today went to start before work and no start with the same 2 codes. What should I check first? I don't have any monitor yet, any help would be very much appreciated! Bought the truck a month ago as a work truck. It has 164000 miles.
ICP sensor connector was dry when you pulled it, not covered in oil? Absent computer diagnostic capability, pull the IPR valve and inspect it and it's wiring. Screen should be intact and not cracked, wire connector should be tight, dry, and not cracked. There's a special socket that makes removal easier:
