Icp and ipr

My truck was running fine, it's stock as far as I know. Shut it off, it sat and cooled off for a while. When I tried to crank it, it wouldn't start, threw 2 codes. P2285 and p 2623. I unplugged the icp sensoran tried to start, no start. Plugged it back in and it started fine for the rest of the work day ( I work out of it). Drove it the next day without any issues. Today went to start before work and no start with the same 2 codes. What should I check first? I don't have any monitor yet, any help would be very much appreciated! Bought the truck a month ago as a work truck. It has 164000 miles.

Profile says '06, codes say 6.0.

ICP sensor connector was dry when you pulled it, not covered in oil? Absent computer diagnostic capability, pull the IPR valve and inspect it and it's wiring. Screen should be intact and not cracked, wire connector should be tight, dry, and not cracked. There's a special socket that makes removal easier:
Amazon Amazon

Screen and seal kit for the IPR valve:
IPR Injection Pressure Regulator Seal Kit 03-07

And the IPR wiring harness if it decides to crumble apart on you:
IPR / VGT Soleniod Pigtail Connector Repair Kit 94-07

No worries Stu, figured I'd take a crack at it. I could still be wrong, you know what assuming does to people
