4R100 rebuild

My vehicle id says I have a 4r100 however I don't have a speed sensor on the top of trany only on the extension housing and by reverse pack only contain 5 clutch. I have the output shaft installed and the clip in place, how ever I feel play in the shaft both side by side and forward and backwards. is this normal? and how much play if any should there be.
My trany also use a park gear bearing to case instead of a bushing. Any information will help. I am using the ansa manual for my rebuild. I got the other components together except I want to be sure of the output shaft before I start putting things in.
My overdrive Planitary has a bearing inbetween the rollers, anu clue as to how to remove the bearing in order to put a new one in?
