more fuel capacity

got a 2008 v10 with 6'10" bed only holds 25 gallons anyone know if a bigger tank available

I've been on the search for awhile now. the larger capacity GAS tanks were pulled sometime between 2010 and 2013. whenever Obama tightened up the emissions regulations. there were several available from a handful of manufacturers before that. aero tanks is one of them.

the only option now is to either put a 40 gallon excursion tank in place of the spare tire, run a racing fuel cell or mod up one of the large capacity diesel tanks like from titan.

I'm probably going to mod up a titan tank by using a stock sending unit with a frame mounted fuel pump. I'm not sure how that would work with the newer trucks electronics and emissions systems. I remember reading something about a guy with a 2006 that installed one of the then legal larger capacity tanks and it caused the truck to throw some random emissions codes.

My 2001 F250 SD CC 4x4 has a 29 gal tank. So maybe a salvage yard?

The 8' bed trucks came with a "38 gal tank". I say " 38 gal" because I've only been able to get 33 gals into it even after driving 10 miles or so after the 0 miles to empty warning is displayed.
