I searched through 11 pages of posts and can't seem to find the thread with the pictures of things we do with our trucks out in the wild.... since I'm on the phone and this is taking forever I'm just gonna post a new thread.
My only purpose for actually needing a 3/4 ton is for hauling my 24' enclosed with a 99 jeep wrangler and a couple at atvs. We're planning on going camping here in a couple weeks and I'll snap some pictures.
Good stuff right there, man. We always rented a place on the lake every summer while our kids were growing up. 2 boats and 2 jet skis and lots of good memories. They'll be grown before you know it.
Seastacker, that's a Ranger, right? I have a '13 Ranger 900 XP that hasn't been run below 6,000' elevation. One of these days I would like to take it to sea level to see what it really can do. Mine certainly isn't gutless but I struggle to keep up with the RZRs.

Yup. It's a 2013 Ranger 500 (Mid-size). Talk about struggle to keep up....I ride with guys who all have RZR 1K's. One just got a turbo! I can keep up on the trails pretty well, but when we get out on the larger routes with the woops or the wide open roads I am usually miles behind. I love the little Ranger, but it's getting close to time for a 4 seater for a growing family. I will probably get a RZR or General when the time comes. I will keep the Ranger for plowing and the dump bed though...just cant give that up. I'm sure that the high elevation takes a bit of steam out of the sails. Have you done any clutching for the high elevation?
As near as I can tell, my dealer does something to the springs in the clutch for high elevation to all the Rangers that they sell. It would be nice to get one of the aftermarket clutches but I don't ride enough to justify it.
I'm still on the PRCForum and haven't jumped to sxsnation.

The manual has the specs for high altitude. I would certainly hope the dealer is making the proper clutching adjustments in a high elevation area like yours. SXSN is still growing, but is a great forum. You should head over and check it out!
I know there are a ton of guys on here playing with ATV's and SXS's. Lets get some more pics!
