Hooker or Flowmaster???

Hooker or Flowmaster???
Im planning on getting a performance muffler for my 2001 supercrew but im not sure which kind. Ive heard them both and like both but i was wondering what has the best performance. If anyone has any input on hooker mufflers please reply. thanks

If the Hooker muffler you are referring to is the aero-chamber, then yes, for sure the Hooker flows better. On flowbench tests from an independent lab, the Hookers flowed the same as a straight pipe of equal size. Kinda hard to believe but they weren't selling anything so I dont think it was biased. I wonder if the Hooker is much quieter then the Flowmaster 40? I heard a 69 Mustang with a 400+ cubic inch 351w do a dyno pull at Car Craft nationals this summer and it had the Hooker aero chambers on it. All I can say is wow! It sounded awesome, but the thing had 400 horse at the rear wheels, so that might help sound output. Just wonder if the Flowmaster and Hooker would sound good on a mainly stock motor?
